Lightning is almost as hard to photograph as a rambunctious toddler. We had quite a light show tonight, not something that happens around here very often and certainly not in June, so I was pretty excited to capture a small bolt before the thunderstorm was over. Isn't she beautiful? And check out those stunning eyes! It's that time of year again--spring is a great time to get some last-minute senior portraits. It's amazing how much kids change from the beginning of the school year to the end so it's a good time to capture them just the way they are when they graduate.
I saw this on a friend's blog: find the sixth picture in the sixth folder of your "My Pictures" file and put it on your blog. This is my youngest on the carousel at Disneyland, taken a couple of years ago. Don't worry, the motion blur is on purpose--I shot this for an assignment for a photography class I was taking. Here are a few more from that same trip, it's pretty easy to find lots of motion at Disneyland...
